The voice of ANU for 45 years

Flicking through the pages of ANU Reporter has been a staple of life for ANU staff, students and alumni for nearly five decades.

Celebrating its 45th anniversary in 2015, ANU Reporter has been published in many formats, and with many editorial directions, but is still going strong.

Originally a fortnightly newspaper, the first edition rolled off the presses in February 1970.

Its staff have covered the evolution of the national university and the building of spaces such as Union Court, the growth of Canberra, student protests, research breakthroughs and political achievements.
