Capturing the night sky
Associate Professor Seth Lazar was an avid travel and portrait photographer before coming to Australia. Here, trips to the bush, with crisp air and clear skies allowed him to explore a different and magical subject – the night sky. Adam Spence reports.
Now Head of the ANU School of Philosophy, Lazar has passionately captured the Milky Way ever since coming to Australia, whether from his home south of Canberra away from the city lights or in the unspoilt beauty of Namadgi National Park.
