Andrea Fahey is a PhD scholar at the ANU National Security College.
She is a public policy and international relations expert, and has dedicated her career to policy analysis and implementation, focusing on communication and advocacy.
Andrea’s work experiences included the United Nations Peacekeeping Missions in Timor-Leste and Sudan. As part of these missions, Andrea contributed to organising seven electoral cycles in two different nations. Through in-depth knowledge of each country’s political culture, she strived in project development and implementation, network building and advocacy, team building and mentoring of local staff.
Andrea’s academic skillset includes a Master’s in Political Communication and an Honours degree in International Relations, with a thesis on Timor-Leste’s independence process currently held at the Australian National Library.
