Why does ANU have a research station and staff in the middle of the Australian desert, and what does it have to do with nuclear weapons?
Tabitha Carvan travelled to the Northern Territory to discover that if you want to hear something very loud – nuclear explosion loud – you have to go somewhere very, very quiet.
