Professor Andrei Rode is an Emeritus Professor at the Research School of Physics.
Professor Rode’s research interests are in short-pulse laser-matter interaction, laser-induced phase transitions and transient states of matter, laser-produced nanoparticles and their properties, laser ablation and deposition of nonlinear optical films for photonics applications, laser trapping of particles in air, and related phenomena.
