Professor Tony Milner is Emeritus Professor at the School of Culture, History and Language and the Strategic and Defence Studies in the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific.
Professor Milner is a specialist on Southeast Asian history, with a particular focus on the Malay world.
He has also been active in Australia-Asia relations – working not only with ANU but also with the Academy of the Social Sciences in Australia, the Australian Institute of International Affairs, the Council for Security Cooperation in the Asia Pacific and Asialink (University of Melbourne).
