Dr Denise Angelo is a Researcher in the School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics.

Dr Angelo researches the contemporary language ecologies of First Nations peoples in Australia. This includes assisting with traditional language programs, recognising and describing new contact languages and Indigenised Englishes and working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who are learners of English as an additional language.
