Dr Filip Slaveski is a Lecturer at the ANU Research School of Social Sciences.

Dr Slaveski is a historian of the Soviet Empire, primarily focusing on Russia and Ukraine.

His work focuses on mass conflict and its aftermath, specifically in food crises, mass violence and political control, and their contemporary echoes.
