Associate Professor Graeme Smith is a Senior Fellow at the ANU Department of Pacific Affairs and co-host of The Little Red Podcast.

His research team explores the People’s Republic of China’s investment, migration, military engagement, technology and aid in the Asia-Pacific, with projects in Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Fiji, Timor-Leste, Thailand and Vietnam.

He is the co-author, with Terence Wesley-Smith, of The China Alternative: Changing Regional Order in the Pacific Islands and also hosts the award-winning Little Red Podcast with Louisa Lim, which covers China beyond the Beijing beltway.
