Associate Professor John Pye is a Researcher in ANU School of Engineering, and a convener in the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions.
He is the ANU Principal Investigator for the Heavy Industry Low-carbon Transition Cooperative Research Centre (HILTCRC). His research interests include green industrial processes, renewable energy systems, solar thermal technologies, optics, heat transfer, simulation and optimisation.
Associate Professor Pye is lead researcher on projects on concentrating solar power (CSP) system modelling, green steel production, renewable process heat, CSP receiver design, and solar fuel production.
