Jonathan Liljeblad is Associate Professor at the ANU College of Law.

Associate Professor Liljeblad’s research focuses on the intersection of human rights, Indigenous rights, and environment. His field work is based in Southeast Asia, where he serves as adviser to development programs under international NGOs such as Asia Development Bank, International Commission of Jurists, Danish Institute of Human Rights, and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung. He is an Indigenous scholar (born as a member of the Pa’Oh Indigenous peoples of Shan State, Myanmar).
