Dr Jos Mulder is a Senior Lecturer in the ANU School of Music.
Dr Mulder is a passionate music technologist, researcher and educator. Music is at the heart of his broad education and professional experience.
Initially trained as a Tonmeister, he specialises in live sound, working internationally with top performers from different traditions. His research is centered around in the organisational, socio-cultural and historical aspects of the use of (loud) electronic amplification in the performance arts and hearing damage to audiences and performers.
