Dr Smith is an Honorary Associate Professor and ARC Future Fellow at the ANU National Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health, and Fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy’s Tax and Transfer Policy Institute.

Ms Smith’s main research interests are feminist economics, labor economics, health economics, maternal and child health and public health, public finance and public policy.
