Dr Julieanne Lamond is a Senior Lecturer in English at the ANU School of Literature, Languages and Linguistics.

Dr Lamond researches Australian literature, cultures of reading, and the relationship between gender and literature. Since 2014 she has worked with non-profit organisation the Stella Prize on the annual Stella Count, collecting statistics on gender balance in Australia’s books pages.

She is the President of the Association for the Study of Australian Literature and editor of the journal Australian Literary Studies. Dr Lamond has spoken on ABC Drive, 666 Canberra, and been interviewed for several broadsheet newspapers. She has published pieces in The Guardian and The Conversation.
