Kyung Moon Hwang is a historian of Korea at the School of Culture, History and Language.
Professor Hwang conducts research on early modern and modern Korean history, as well as on historical memory and contestation.
He teaches courses on Korean history, culture, society, politics, and language, and has published books for both academic and general audiences.
