Dr Mathieu Leclerc is a Lecturer in the ANU School of Archaeology and Anthropology.

Dr Leclerc is an early-career researcher and archaeologist, and is also affiliated with the School of Culture, History and Language at the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific and the ARC Centre of Excellence for Australian Biodiversity and Heritage.

His primary research interests include using archaeological science techniques on artefacts to reconstruct the socio-technological organisation of artefacts production; population movements and exchange networks; and the environmental conditions that affected the raw materials selected.

He also has an interest in non-traditional research outputs and is actively engaged in outreach activities outside academia.
