Emeritus Professor Michael Smithson is affiliated with the Research School of Psychology, and a Fellow of the Academic of Social Sciences in Australia.

Author of seven books and more than 200 peer-reviewed articles, Professor Smithson’s areas of expertise include judgement and decision under risk, uncertainty, and ignorance, and statistical methods for the human sciences.
