Dr Nick Wilson is a Research Fellow in the ANU Bushfire Research Centre of Excellence.
Dr Wilson’s research focuses on technology in bushfire management and understanding environmental drivers of bushfires. Specifically, he is evaluating the performance of fire detection technologies that can enable the rapid detection of fires while they are small and easier to suppress.
Complementing this work, Dr Wilson is also exploring bushfire ignitions and the environmental drivers of fire activity.
