Nick Cheesman is the Director of the ANU Myanmar Research Centre and Associate Professor in the Department of Political and Social Change.
Associate Professor Cheesman researches state violence in mainland Southeast Asia, in particular, torture; the politics of law and courts, and the rule of law.
