Dr Rahul Shome is a Lecturer at the ANU School of Computing.

Dr Shome’s work empowers intelligent robots by building algorithms and computational processes that ensure they work with and for people.

He received his PhD in Computer Science at Rutgers University and was a Rice Academy Fellow at Rice University.

Dr Shome’s work has been recognised and celebrated with multiple international awards and nominations at top robotics venues.

He has contributed to academic articles and book chapters on his research, including writing an entry in the Encyclopedia of Robotics. He also serves on editorial boards and committees of top robotics journals and conferences.
