Sally Baker is an Associate Professor of Migration and Education at POLIS: The Centre for Social Policy Research at the ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences.
Her research interests and expertise focus on equity in higher education, especially for students with a refugee background. She also has interest in forced migration, higher education, transitions, and academic language and literacies.
Dr Baker is a qualitative researcher, using longitudinal, qualitative, and strengths-based approaches. She has interest in the ethics, particularly in researcher supervisory contexts.
