Professor Sara Bice is Foundation Director of the Institute for Infrastructure in Society at the Crawford School of Public Policy, where she serves as Head of the Policy and Governance Program.

Professor Bice leads research on The Next Generation Engagement program, Australia’s largest study into community engagement in infrastructure. She is a past president of the International Association for Impact Assessment, the world’s leading membership body for impact assessment practitioners, researchers and clients. Sara is Professor (Special International Guest) at the School of Public Policy and Management, Tsinghua University, Beijing.

The ANU Institute for Infrastructure in Society (I2S) is Australia’s leading research institute working to transform the relationship between major projects and communities. It is home of the Next Generation Engagement program.

I2S is proud to call the ANU Crawford School of Public Policy home. At I2S we work hard every day to deliver unique, sector-level research insights.
