Dr Lade is an ARC Future Fellow at the ANU Fenner School of Environment & Society.
Dr Lade is also a researcher at the ANU Institute for Water Futures and cluster lead at the ANU Institute for Climate, Energy and Disaster Solutions. He works on understanding the resilience of humans and their environment, for example in agriculture and natural resource management.
Dr Lade is also currently working on climate tipping points and their impacts. He is developing an ‘Earth system impact score’ using the ‘planetary boundaries’ framework to assess the impacts of businesses and investments on the planet.
