Wen-Ti Sung is a sessional lecturer in the ANU Taiwan Studies Program and an academic member of the Australian Centre on China in the World.

A political scientist by training, Wen-Ti works on the US-China-Taiwan trilateral relationship, with particular focus on Chinese elite politics, Taiwanese elections, and US think tanks. He is primarily interested in how bottom-up and inside-out political and discursive forces shape foreign policy formation.

Wen-Ti has been quoted by media outlets such as TIME, CNN, DW, Bloomberg, Al Jazeera and Taiwan Plus primarily on issues concerning Chinese politics, Taiwan’s security, and US-China relations.
