Wesley Widmaier is a Professor at the ANU Department of International Relations.
Professor Widmaier is the past Chair of the International Political Economy section of the International Studies Association, lead editor of the journal Review of International Political Economy, and former Head of the ANU Department of International Relations from 2020 to 2022.
He has written two books (on US foreign policy and economic policy change) and over 30 scholarly articles. His interests include concerns for leadership in wars, crises, and change across US Politics, international security and international political economy contexts.
