Dr Romain Fathi is a Senior Lecturer at the ANU School of History.

Dr Fathi is an award-winning cultural historian who focuses on the transnational dimension of war and its aftermath, in both the European and Australian contexts. WW1, war commemorations and Australian identity are his primary research interests, alongside French politics and history.

He has taught at several universities globally, and is an Affiliated Researcher at the Centre for History of Sciences Po (CHSP) in Paris, France.
